This new body of work captures time in space. Emerging from a period of great uncertainty in the world, these works reflect the vast dichotomy of uncertainty and hope, coming together.

Inspired by a quote by Joseph Albers, “the meditative
potential of the interplay of colours, rather than colour theory” - Shannon wanted to explore the energy and magic that arises when colours meet.

Colour and texture is layered and extracted using non-traditional painting tools, enabling the tension between chaos and calm, balance and harmony to reflect the natural ebb and flow of life, work, love and motherhood.
